The Gongarola Version offers a fully renewed encounter with one of the most influential spiritual texts of our time. Prepared with scholarly rigor and deep devotion to the original dictation, it presents the complete Course in six volumes: three volumes for the Text, two for the Workbook, and one for the Manual for Teachers together with its Annexes.
This is the complete original dictation, not a reduced or reorganized version. The Gongarola Version restores the full text as it was received, merging the Urtext with Helen Schucman's earliest Notes — incorporating more than 50,000 words absent from the standard 1975 edition.
The language itself has been very lightly edited, only where necessary. Archaic phrasing and expressions that obscure meaning for today's reader have been refined, while the doctrine is preserved in its entirety, with the same rigor that governs every other aspect of this edition.
What distinguishes this edition most is its exegetical content: over ten thousand notes, the result of twenty-five years of sustained study. They serve a genuinely pedagogical purpose — one could say they form a course about the Course itself. Some cross-reference the Old or New Testaments, illuminating the biblical language the dictation constantly draws on; others point to concepts developed elsewhere in the Course, showing how a single idea unfolds across the whole work; still others situate a passage against other literary, philosophical, or historical material. But the great majority — and the most original and valuable body of the work — are explanatory and pedagogical notes: patient, sustained commentary that walks the reader through the doctrine step by step, so that reading the Course becomes, in itself, a course of formation.

The annotated editions of my works on the Spanish mystics offer a rich and accessible reading experience for both scholars and general readers.
